Semiparametric Regression Models and Applicability in Agriculture

Parametric regression models assume that the dependent variable is a linear relationship with independent variables and form of known. Nonparametric methods are applied in cases where type not known or assumptions cannot be provided. However, when there more than one variable, some may while nonlinear relationship.
